Biocontrol Engages Hallmark/Tassone Agency
PITTSBURGH, June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Biocontrol Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: BICO)
announced today that Pittsburgh-based Hallmark/Tassone, Inc. has been named as its advertising
and public relations agency.
"The Pittsburgh firm of Hallmark/Tassone, which will handle both national and localized PR efforts,
was chosen by BICO for its insight, vision, and aggressive attitude," said Biocontrol Chief
Executive Officer, Fred E. Cooper.
Other clients of Hallmark/Tassone, considered the fourth largest Pittsburgh-area communications
firm, include Cameron Coca-Cola, Dad's Products Company, Port Authority of Allegheny
County, Hoover Company, Pittsburgh Penguins, and the University of Pittsburgh.
Biocontrol has its corporate offices in Pittsburgh, PA and is currently in the production model
testing phase for the Diasensor 1000(TM) noninvasive glucose sensor for diabetics. Through
subsidiaries, the Company is also involved in the only FDA-approved clinical trials for whole-body
extracorporeal hyperthermia treatment for AIDS patients and markets innovative environmental
