Bob, NTAP is a software company. All of the hardware is off-the-shelf stuff. Their motherboards are custom built, but they are stripped down standard PC server motherboards.

It is their software that makes it a filer.

DW calls it "tin wrapped software" (as opposed to shrink wrapped software).
