<I am not acknowledging a "bear"> By the time Bear Markets are acknowledged, the greatest damage is already done. Witness CMTN. The A/D line as constituted by the NYSE was in a Bear Market from April 98 for 2 years. The Internet and High Tech Stocks bucked the trend during that time. I think we got a trend reversal during the spring break. I doubt the Dow or S@P will hit new lows in this move down. Recession coming my Arse. Why is the XAU hitting new all time lows on a daily basis? The XAU is not forecasting a hard landing and rising inflation. It is forecasting the opposite. Something else is going on here and I think it's called Fear.
