Good point, but IMO the major difference between the flash suppliers and the disk drive companies is the state of the respective markets. SSTI's products go into many, many, different end products such as computers, dsl+cable modems, phones, PDA's, DVD's, MP3's, CD-R's, etc... Many of these products are experiencing tremendous growth and therefore demand for flash is great and IMO will continue to be for several years (not just months).

Disk drives are still mainly in the computer/storage market and therefore will continue to be limited by the growth of this market. Although, I have noticed disk drives in new applications such as the TV set-top boxes and DSS receivers. This trend should help diversify the disk drive industry but will probably take some time.
