I think I already live in a liberal free abortion society. And I fare very well, thank you. Of course I've never had an abortion, because I am responsible. But if I had become pregnant with an abnormal child you bet I would have had an abortion. Abortion of healthy fetuses is not something I support for myself- but that is simply egoism. My genes, and my husbands, in my opinion, are simply too precious to be wasted. I don't expect everyone to be as egotisicaL as I am- and I certainly wouldn't force them to be, so I believe all other women should have a choice. Is having a choice some sort of platonic ideal form of the "right" thing to do? No. And neither is not having a choice. Choice just happens to be what we have now. And I like it.
