The ever cautious Marty Zwieg pointed out on Louis Rukeyser last night that this is the 4th major sell off in the Sept. and early October period since the start of the bull market 8 year ago. He said it's not a coinincidence as Funds are heavily into tax selling. The market did very well soon afterward. Said the market was very oversold and the put call ratio sentiment indicator was very bullish. Also the first month after a Pres. election has been very good in the past. Mike Holland noted that if Zwieg says we have hit bottom its well worth noting.
