That is the scary thing: that most everyone seems unconcerned. I guess it must be in part because all that '29 depression era memory is dying off and investment caution is a lost concept.

I remember stopping by a Schwab office during the 87 fiasco. What a madhouse. There was an old gent there that had actually been through the 29 crash. People, looking for reassurance, asked him how long it took for his stocks to recover. He laughed and said that some of those that still existed hadn't gotten back yet. That didn't go over with the crowd too well. -g-
