Colin,

I understand that the estimated taxes are due April 17, 2000, June 15, 2000, September 15, 2000 and January 16, 2001. However, since I've missed the September 15 payment; will sending out the Sept 15 payment this coming Monday automatically stop the penalty calculation when the IRS received my check say by Wednesday next week?

In other words, will it make a difference if I send the check on Monday or if I send the check on the next due date on Jan. 16, 2001?

Thanks in advance.
