Dewight, Sorry, It must be a sutpid one.. Bob seemed to be claiming that Iridium did not work in Africe, or Brasil.. In reality, It worked everywhere.. Inclusive of the poles.

Here is some data on the Iridium IceTrek . Hope you find it interesting.. The IceTrek took place in November 1998, The same month that Iridium launched Global Service.
