Can anyone explain the exact meaning of "Minority interest in consolidated income" on the income statement. I realize it has to do with the minority interest in 21 partnerships that Lithotripters, Inc has a controlling interest. However, I don't understand why the income is recorded in revenues and then taken as a deduction from income. This appears to greately overstate revenues (up 212%) and diminishes net income.
