hello mark:

i get the feeling the flyers are the ones getting the break from those long t.v. timeouts. the two series are about as opposite as i thought they would be.... i expected higher scoring out west with the avs dominating but the redwings look very strong. i did expect the flyers physical play but i also expected not much scoring on their behalf..... it seemed both times the rangers tied up the flyers the other night they got too offensive minded.... both ulfy and driver were guilty of that. i don't know when karpotsev (sp?) will be back but they missed him too... too many stupid penalties too.... and leetch looked very hurt..... it will be very tough for the rangers and it could finally be the redwings year! i can't believe i wrote that.... but if true i better get my personal belongings out of detroit asap..... i enjoy your insight on hockey.....
buddy
p.s. cairns looked like he enjoyed hitting lindros alot.... too bad i can skate better than he can (only went once in my life - i used to roller blade hockey...)..... i hope leetch improves greatly friday night... go rangers.
