Frank,

That's old news and Bill CLinton has clearly been against that kind of tort reform for months if not years.

What that Bill supported was the removal of one's ability to bring forth a law suit with payment from a contingency fee. In other words, if you sued anyone you would have to pay your attorney fees up front and not be able to allow him or her to collect fees based on a percentage of the award. Don't you think that Bill would take the middle class out of the court system? How many people could afford to pay their attorney up front?..............only the rich and powerful.

I am very glad CLinton veto'd the Bill and don't think he did so only because of some campaign donation. Our right to appeal many things in the courts would have been destroyed. This position is clearly one that has been central to the Democratic Party for YEARS.
