I understand from previous posts that KLAC mgt and Analysts are untrustworthy.

If it is KLA's management's credibility from the past that is an issue (again), I guess I wonder if they have taken the time to learn how to do "earnings management". (By this I mean....smoothing out the revenue flow when you know that your business is cyclical. When to recognize revenue for example.)

You have to wonder about the analysts that follow this company. To allow KLAC stock to get to $97.75 this year and not realize that the business is/might be cyclical (to some extent at least) seems nearly criminal. Of course, I realize that they were likely trading KLAC for their "high net-worth individuals" -- and getting in early and, of course, getting out at or near the top and buying PUTS. Pulling the plug in a sense.

It is no wonder some middle class Americans get frightened by trying to pick individual stocks. I guess that's why mutual funds were invented.

I didn't want to get off on a rant here....but I think possible collusion and/or mismanagement by KLAC and the analyst community is serious business. Oh, and BTW I'm not a lawyer just a lowly Software Engineer.
