john, get real. Ballmer went to Welch for help. If revenue was going to go through the roof MSFT would not have to seek Welch's help. People would want to stay at the company and it would be one of the hottest places to work. This is not the case.

I do not know the specifics on the EDS deal but it seems to me that EDS is the real winner hear. It appears that the govt. is outsourcing their IT. You can bet it is going to be in a server environment with a open architecture. If this is not the case, I am going to contact my congressman and senator.

The govt. is already using the MSFT's monopoly products. Al you are is trading dollars. EDS is the one who will incur the annuity revenue stream.

MSFT best days are behind them and thats a fact. Just ask BG, he seems to be in hiding these days. Just to repeat myself, MSFT has not warned because BG wants to retain the title of "richest man alive" for just a few more days. 10.18 will give you an indication of things to come.

Have a nice day, your friend, Bob.
