I changed my mind about i2, fwiw. I was thinking ariba would take some of their core functionality. But it seems ariba can't get the supplier side (read: supply chain) logistics stuff off the ground. I2 is still king - they have an old architecture which is a flaw, but not enough java engineers seem to be able to deliver in the logistics area. Ariba and C1 are doing great with their buysites, but that is just a purchasing schedule online in a structured catalog format... big deal.
