Using the Trendline Projection Feature

The Trendline Projection feature allows you to linearly project a freeform Trendline (i.e., one drawn between two user-defined points) to the left or right of the end points, thus allowing a trend's future value at a certain period to be plotted. To extend the direction of a trendline:

1 Select the trendline you wish to change by clicking on it. (Some little white blocks will appear around it.)

2 Use the Format - Trendline Projection menu sequence and select the direction desired (i.e., Off, Left Projection, Right Projection, Bi Projection[both, left and right]).

I just tried this and it worked ! Never tried it before. Thanks. See you back at the DRBOB board.
