AMD has ALWAYS held this Price/Peerformance lead - simply by offering the LOWEST PRICES -throughout their 30 year history.

So what's new, SpryGuy?

He's had that gleam for several years now.

And Intel has owned those market segments for even longer.

The longer AMD slips their schedules, the MORE ENTRENCHED Intel becomes.

Further - the low end is now opening up to TransMeta. So, The AMD Kmart Discount business strategy will have to deal with TransMeta - as well as Intel.

I'm sure Sanders won't mind selling his Dupalons at a loss - just so SpryGuy can claim some minimal market share in these segments.
