I question how much Wanniski actually supported Farrakhan. I am unfamiliar with the situation, but saying something that points out a positive quality and isn't totally negative, like Kemp and Robert Novak have done, shouldn't be construed as support.

I'm not a supporter of his, but I can appreciate how his group has cleaned up some neighborhoods and made them better places for a kid to grow up and safer places for elderly people to walk the streets. His message of self reliance should resonate with conservatives. Too bad the guy is such a nut.
