When my cats try to cover their food, it usually means they are telling me it tastes like crap. I'm not sure how Myers stays alive- he carries on every morning like he's near death from lack of sustenance and then I feed him and he sniffs it and walks away. He reminds me of Ammo as a child so I don't worry about him. Ammo lived despite not eating for several years. Last night he ate two full slabs of babybacks at tony Roma's, and a double order of French fries, 1/2 a fried onion loaf, and a small loaf of bread. He said he just wasn't very hungry.
