Interesting comments from Ijacobs,BS, others. At a NY qcom presentation IJ said when asked about g "g will be around for a long time",The ladenburg report quoted a qcom exec,g is very important to qcom they see g as a communications pipe,, In a call with BS a week ago he assured me that getting funds for g would not be an issue as long as the mkt for g appeared to be viable which it is currently{although slower than planned but improving},He made it clear that ifn could be BIG for g and ifn will not happen without g,, He went on to talk about his time frame is shorter due to his age and he is not accustomed to failure,, ir said recently BS does not want to go out as a failure though they were not commenting on his plans .Fwiw i have a g phone and last night talked with g customer service 611 via gsat sitting under a partially covered driveway getting a takeout,he said they are very busy,geting busier and it was a perfectly clear call.
