Payments received for Gateways and phones have not been so counted, either, but royalties on those sales are.

Since we're counting millions here like I count dollars, what is the status of handset and gateway royalties? I read in one of G*'s filings that they would get $400K per gateway sold and "up to" $10 per handset sold. It certainly seems like most of the gateways have been sold. I am not sure when this revenue accrues, or for that matter what "sale" (sale into a distribution channel, or ultimate retail sale) of a handset triggers the handset royalty.

There should be about $16MM in gateway royalties to be counted sometime as revenue, plus whatever the handset number is.

Has anyone seen anything on this?
