You have been harping on this point like a 6 year old. There exists no caveat in the "buy American" statues that states that if a comparable product is not made in the US that it can't be bought by the US government.

Your statement about the statutes is true and does not contradict anything I said, but DRAM is readily available from American manufacturers, so there would have to be good justification for buying a particular type of DRAM which is not made in the US. Given that Intel and AMD are developing DDR chipsets for all of their processors, this claim will be difficult to justify.

Of course, the only mention of DRDRAM or P4 in the context of the EDS deal was from tech_moron_2000.

Instead of weighing in with "6 year old" comments, why not engage in some constructive discussion?
