CJ, Gas and oil should no longer track. We can import oil,
but gas will only be piped within our continent. The explosion in technology has placed an increasing demand for power as never seen before. Clean power is making natural gas the choice for power. Fuel cells are too far out and nuclear has serious long term consequences. If memory serves me, power consumption will double by 2003. It's going to get ugly here in America. Something never seen before. Although Bush is pushing for opening refuge areas
for fuel, Gore will ultimately be forced into the same
solution should he win. It's only a political issue today, but the reality is 'it will happen'. We are at the mercy
of the middle east for oil, and at the mercy of our own
economic expansion for gas. Eat more beans!
