I'm watching the re-run of the debate now on C-Span. And was interested to see if my first impression was clear. It was funny watching Gore trying to answer the "show us a decision you've made in the past" question. He clearly didn't have that one memorized. He bumbled and stumbled trying to come up with something, then finally stumbled into his rhetoric about "being for the middle class".

That was probably the only time during the debate where the answer wasn't scripted. The other questions were predictable. On the only one Gore hadn't memorized like a puppet, Gore looked like an fool.

Bush is far more intelligent than Gore. He's not stupid enough to tell bald faced lies. And he at least graduated with an MBA, where Gore flunked out of school because he smoked too much dope.

People with class and intelligence don't interrupt and whine the way Al Gore did when someone rebuttes your statement. His childish antics, demonstrate his emotional intelligence is that of a teenager. Anyone can memorize 7 predictable questions. When Gore had to think on his feet, he fell flat on his face.

I wonder how many Whoppers Al will tell in the next debate.
