Bush always cared more about baseball that politics. It is said he resisted running for government hoping instead he would get the baseball commissioner's job (purely on nepotism of course, he didn't deserve it). Running for governor was his second choice. If you've lived in Texas you know the Bushes rule down there. GW didn't deserve the job or earn it. He was born into it. It was offered to him and he finally took it. same as president if he wins.
