the ironic reality is that amzn is up around 10 fold in a couple years and the avg amzn
investor has LOST their butt. that is what happens when volume is up 10 and 20 fold near the
highs as compared to the lows.

I agree with your statement but am not sure about how we got there. Initially, Amazon had a small float. The float now is quite large and all that came from insider selling either by the original insiders or the insiders of firms Amazon acquired. Would not those the share that cause the high volume while Amazon was at a much higher price? Meaning the insiders well selling to the retail investor at higher prices than now. Bascially, that is a transfer of wealth and not in a good way in my opinion.

Is that how you suspect this occurs?
