It was the right thing to do and the people are glad he did it. Did Bush prefer higher prices remain?

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.... But two points are clear...

..it will NOT alleviate the heating oil shortage should this turn into a frigid winter since refineries are operating at 96 to 99% capacity already.

... and that this situation may not have occurred at all if Clinton/Gore and his EPA eco-hounds hadn't created such a situation where NOT EVEN ONE NEW US REFINERY HAS BEEN BUILT IN THE PAST 10 YEARS and dozens have been CLOSED DOWN.

That the truth about Clinton/Gore... these guys have a destroyed the US capacity to independently produce and refine its own energy requirements.

So the question is "where was Al Gore for the past 8 years"?.....
