Investartist..

First of all, don't take this personal.. "But, I don't take requests." If there is some part of my investment tactics that you don't understand. Then that is understandable! Believe me, I am sure there are tactics in your investment philosophy, THAT I KNOW, I would not understand. Nor, do I "request" that you provide a step by step explanation of your investment ideals! Nor, do I request an explanation why you post "hype" while discarding any form of "Balance" in your perspectives. Maybe because you want to persuade other "less knowledgeable investors", into investing in "A VERY HIGH RISK investment". What I will tell you is that I still hold the "ability" to purchase an equal amount of Loral shares below the price which I sold my "Load the boat"@ $6.50 purchase price. With the market in it's present state, it seems easier to just come back in.. Oh! Say Jan. 2003 and see where things stand! By then, LMT overhang will be gone. Globalstar issues should be resolved.. etc.. Cash preservation is at it's greatest. Risk is minimal.. It took me a long time to dollar average down to a point where I could finally sell "at a slight profit" my Loral shares. Maybe you don't like the concept.. But, I believe my money is better at work in Qualcomm at this juncture. Spinco's coming up!

I would hope that Common Sense would have told you to sell your GSTRF positions when the Bear S. deal was announced. After all, What kind of announcement do you want! A personal letter from BLS stating that he is sure the share price is going to decline? Only another 10 weeks of selling left to go!

Next, I don't praise Iridium! I do think that they got the "Network Topology" correct for the current market demand of these services. Inter-Satellite linking is the way to go! If Globalstar had employed it, then Globalstar could offer service without a Gateway deployed. i.e. Over the Oceans etc. Of course, it does reduce capacity.. But, Gloablstar management was so confident of the "Huge pent up demand theory" that they first envisioned over 140 Gateways. I guess the potential SP's were not a as sure about the "Pent up demand"! What I do, is defend Iridium against those who attack it and make totally baseless claims about it's "non-functionality". Even though they have never actually used the product. That's just plain ignorance! I have NEVER bashed Globalstar on it's technical merits.. Only it's management, and it's horrendous ability to manage this project and control the SP's.

Iridium IS an important tool for the Globalstar Investor, and it's management. Earlier this year I was "laughed at" by BobRE at my statements that Globalstar would probably have an average 40 MOU per month per user. He claimed it would be serveral hundred, as he used it over 500 minutes per month".. But when the data came out.. BINGO.. 40 MOU per month average..(Don't take that personal Bob). Because this was exactly the MOU data that Iridum management provided..(That moves that Subscriber Break Even point from 1 million subs, to 4 million subs).
Again, Gloablstar management stated that "WE ARE GOING TO LEARN FROM IRIDIUM'S MISTAKES".. So far, it appears they have learned NOTHING! But, you can take solace that everything is going according to PLAN!

So maybe you don't like that I refuse to put on my "Happy Face", and pretend that everything is going great! But, then again, I never found it fitting to partake in the Kool-Aid in the first place.

PS: One thing you can be sure of is that McCaw/ICO ARE taking notes.
