I am inclined to disagree because companies are using stock currency to make acquisitions of technologies and people.Thus - market caps do matter. Emerging gorillas and companies in the bowling alley (The Gorilla Game) increase their competitive advantage by using their stock currency to buy companies that will help them to control their value chain. leeza rodriguez
