That is a generous, kind point you make about the grand piano. I will say that I have never been anywhere where someone was invited to play one of those "furniture pianos". Well, actually once I sat down at a beautiful Yamaha, rolled a chord and it was completely out of tune- unplayable. To me, that's a travesty. But I am a very bad music and book snob. I am guilty of making judgments on people whose homes are bookless. I admit it. It is a serious flaw in my otherwise kind, lovable generous spirit. Well, there may be one or two more. LIke my inability to cook chicken.
