Korean Internet company Thrunet recently chose nearly 500
Compaq servers and nine storage systems over models from
Hewlett-Packard. The $21 million transaction was financed
through a three-year lease from Compaq Financial Services
(CFS).

The hardware includes:

106 ProLiant 8500 servers
22 ProLiant 5500 servers
71 ProLiant ML 500 servers
133 ProLiant DL 580 servers
59 ProLiant DL 380 servers
90 ProLiant DL 360 servers
9 EMA 12000 35TB storage units
