I never voted against political discussion and I never said those discussions were out of line. In fact, I am a firm believer that this porch is here for people to discuss whatever the hell they want to.

In this particular instance, I merely agreed with dealer in that I thought this particular discussion was getting out of hand. Over 400 posts in a short time period. 99% about BUSH/GORE, and 95% the same stuff, over, and over again.

I am a firm believer in free speech....fress discussion. I am also a firm believer that this porch should be used as a forum to discuss anything we want....after all, this is america and that is what free speech is all about. However, that doesnt mean, that every now and then a line can be crossed. Again, in this instance, I personally wasnt upset about the political discussion, I was more upset that I had to spend so much time going over the same posts over and over again. I feel the points people were trying to make were made....many times, and the discussion was getting carried away and it was just time to bring up something new or leave it alone already.

No harm no foul
