Softechie, this is what I have been trying to tell you for a month. btw, spending estimates were increased for 2000 to 29% growth over 1999. Merrill and HQ estimate homegrown spending to increase 10% for next year. Historically, they have been conservative in their estimates. Even if they are dead on, next gen equipment makers, specifically optical and metro access to last mile will benefit while those with legacy equipment will see a decline in revenue. That is why I do not believe that LU is well positioned for longer term prosperity.
