If the trials are set up like they are in Redmond, each participant only tests one vendor's equipment. The comparisons are done at another level. So if you were on Westell's FlexCap and your only comparison was your old 28.8, you'd be excited and "lean towards" CAP. Not to say the entire company isn't leaning this way.

The problem with FlexCap is that it offers no flexibility --- no matter what it's trade name. Now, once RADSL is out and participating in trials, the jig will be up and the real decisions have to be made.

BTW, I think your broker's a smart guy. :))
