Here's a URL to show firearm deaths as related to auto accidents:

1- 1- You are comparing all firearms deaths with auto accidents. It might be more accurate to compare gun accidents with auto accidents. Someone killing someone in self defense is not comparable it may indicate a life
saved by a gun (yes the criminal would have been killed by the gun but he brought in on himself). Gun murders, might have been committed with another weapon if a gun wasn't available, and might not be lower if guns were less available. If someone is willing to commit a murder he will probably not be deterred too much by the possibility that in addition to facing a long prison sentence (or execution) for the murder, he might also face another year or three locked up for violating gun laws. Criminals often are deterred by
either someone with a gun, or the thought that someone might have a gun.

2- Your info does show that cars kill more people then guns, even though there are more guns that cars in the US. Should we ban cars then?
