Party Time, it doesn't matter if you discuss character or issues. The Democrats lose big time.

Take Social security: Bush has the better idea. Gore is simply delaying making the tough decision and dumping it on the next generation.

Take Education: Gore has closed his mind to targeted vouchers and choice and is simply sucking up to PAC dollars from the NEA. Bush has a real track record to run on, and is not afraid to take on the NEA to provide creative solutions in order to improve lousy schools.

Take Health Care: Gore wants to move to a socialized system of care, similar to Canada's, where the failure of the system is evident to nearly every Canadian. They vote with their feet and come across the border for quality care on a daily basis. Where would American's go for quality care if we followed Canada down this failed socialistic path? Bush wants to look for creative solutions which empower the individual with choices. And he's not afraid to take on the *powerful lawyer lobby groups* which have prevented TORT reform from being enacted and driven costs up astronomically.

Take the Military: Gore's track record is laughable. He's overseen the destruction of morale and equipment for the better part of 8 years. As I previously stated. Improvements in the military have more to do with leadership than anything else. And Gore has failed in his leadership capacity. On the other hand, Bush has people like Cheney, Powell and Schwarzkopf around to provide the leadership America needs.

Take Abortion: Gore is willing to kill a 9 month old baby and pretend it's not a living entity. The American people overwhelmingly support a ban on partial birth abortion. It's only the media who think Gore has the issue. He doesn't. Partial birth abortion has never been performed for the health or the life of the mother. Even C. Everett Koop has gone on the record and stated that. (A liberal Democrat). Therefore, Bush has the issue.

Take Taxes: Gore thinks all money belongs to the government and keeps using language saying a tax cut is the equivalent to spending money. Let me see if I can make this clear to all you Gore lovers. IT'S NOT THE GOVERNMENTS MONEY. IT'S THE PEOPLES MONEY. A tax cut is simply the people keeping their own money, not the government spending it. Democrats live in a paradigm which views all income as the governments. It's a dangerous paradigm for liberty loving free people to be encased it.

Take the Environment: I've read Gore's book "Earth in the balance" and Gore is an environmental extremist. Who believes we can't dig for oil in an environmentally friendly way. He also believes the car engine is the most dangerous device on the planet. He's simply pandering to his PAC money again and fails to look at environmental solutions in a balanced way. Bush on the other hand takes a balanced look at the environment and is not willing to surrender American sovereignty to a bunch of third world environmental nuts, who believe in the gloom and doom scenario of global warming.

Take race relations: Gore is a limousine liberal that even black Democrats have criticized and said is not tolerant of black body guards in the secret service. A number of them have even filed a petition regarding the issue. He also doesn't want to improve the inner city schools by giving parents a choice in order to improve their children's educational opportunities. He doesn't trust inner city parents to make informed decisions regarding schools for their children. Bush on the other hand, has reached out to hispanic voters by supporting targeted vouchers. He trusts inner city parents know what is better for their children than the government does. And he's not afraid to take on the NEA in order to find creative solutions which help our poorest of poor children get a decent education.

The case is clear whether you look at character or issues. Bush has both. And the American people are finding that out more and more every day.
