Leadership as Business Aircraft Deliveries Continue at
Record Pace

Nine-month deliveries surpassing last year's record pace

Bombardier Aerospace announced today that deliveries for the first
nine months of the calendar year* are significantly ahead of last
year's record performance. This record activity again positions
Bombardier as the market share leader in business aircraft.

The world's third-largest civil airframe manufacturer reported a
total of 162 business aircraft deliveries for the nine months
ending Sept. 30, 2000, an increase of 34 units over the 128
aircraft delivered in the same period a year earlier.

"Having already delivered 162 aircraft in the first nine months,
we are clearly on track for another record performance," said Rob
Gillespie, president, Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft.
"Last year's superb year for our Business Aircraft organization -
a year in which we delivered 173 aircraft - clearly established
Bombardier as the revenue leader in corporate aviation."

In particular, the U.S. market remains very strong, showing growth
in all areas of corporate aviation. "We are seeing strong
interest in aircraft related services ranging from completions, to
training and maintenance through our Bombardier Aviation Services
network.

"Our company's sales success provides the financial resources to
offer the most complete family of business aircraft products,
complemented by the widest range of value-added services and a
growing international support network," said Mr. Gillespie.

"Delivering this package in a seamless, fully integrated manner
enables our customers to leverage these strengths to achieve more
with their business aircraft investments. Our theme this week,
'It's all about doing more,' reflects both our customer focus and
our commitment to helping our customers attain an even greater
measure of success," he observed.
