Not usual to call such meetings so close on heels of earnings
report meetings, or for two days rather than one.

And, usually announcements of product/services and deals such
as Tel-Save aren't made at such meetings.

A possibility is to explain/smooth over something more fundamental
that might otherwise create uncertainty (such as a re-org), or
just something huge (as a business combination).
