If people lie to protect "national secrets" that are illegal activities then they subvert our democratic form of government- but I'm glad you can "forgive" that. Arms were sold for hostages- if you don't see the implications of that, and the terrible precedent it sets, against our avowed principles, than we have nothing more to discuss. I think your priorities are wrong.
