Free Lexar software

I've just been playing with the Lexar 'Shoot and Share' software, which is free from their 'printroom.com' site.

Its quite good, looks like a cut down version of Thumbs Plus to me*, seems to do the same stuff with two major exceptions (both vital). These are, compress jpegs to user specified amount, and , do batch operations. Anyway, as its free this month, I thought I should take a peek. (according to the web site its "$29.95 value", but IMHO not without the two features I mentioned. )

Tw

*suspiciously like T+, many of the menus and screen layouts look the same, IIRC. I'm not suggesting they stole it, I presume they have some arrangement with the vendors of T+ to obtain this cut down version. I'd have thought they could have attracted more people to their site by offering a free, albeit restricted, version of T+ rather than trying to convince folks its some snazzy new software.
I'll continue to use Irfanview which has compression and batch operations, and is free.
