I have no idea. But look at some of the facts he stated in his article. For instance, "In the last ten years, 80% of fourth quarters resulted in a gain, with the largest gain roughly seven times bigger than the worst loss."

I know that I can think back at least 4 years and remember this to be true for each of those years. Why should this one be any different? The macro backdrop is telling me that we are oversold. I don't expect a bounce back to 3/2000 levels, but a steady increase over time.
