Cary,

I never expected such ignorance to be spoken by you. The idea that Bush does not posess "intellectual ability" amazes me. Why don't we let his credentials speak for themselves? See below. Not everyone who graduates from Harvard has common sense, but they surely have "intellectual ability" as you claim he is lacking. He has been succesful in the private sector as well as the public sector, something Gore cannot lay claim to, and something which would have been impossible if Bush did not possess the "intellectual ability."

After your statements, I am now wondering about your "intellectual ability," no offense intended. Dismissing someone with the common media caricature floated about is not what I would have expected from you Cary. It certainly does not make for intelligent political discussion where both sides can debate but in the end agree to disagree.

FWIW, I was going to vote for Nader but changed after I saw Gore's behavior in the first debate. He is certainly not fit to be President after that showing, not to mention the fact that he is promising everyone everything.....except a Corvette on their 21st brithday.

George W. Bush was born July 6th, 1946 and grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas. He received a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He served as an F-102 pilot for the Texas Air National Guard. He began his career in the oil and gas business in Midland in 1975 and worked in the energy industry until 1986. After working on his father’s 1988 presidential campaign he assembled the group of partners that purchased the Texas Rangers baseball franchise in 1989 and which later built the Ranger’s new home, the Ballpark at Arlington.
