John was very loyal to Jesus , and deeply involved in his teachings, and loved Jesus above all else...

what else would you expect him to say?
So often in
hostile surroundings and many mocking
his friend and teacher? The word "love" was unloved
and laws ruled where men's hearts wouldn't.
And Romans and fear ruled above everything else.

If John and Jesus had walked together
in India, and not in
the barbaric war torn land
of the middle east....

Both he and Jesus would have been accepted
as Holy Ones , the teachings embraced,
and not Crucified and tortured...
