I am not aware of a single instance.

That fact redefines what "reasonable" means to me.

In any case, I do not believe that the police should be wardens of the privilege ("right", I know, but legislation has made it a de facto privilege. One entirely and peremptorily denied to, say, New Yorkers. Last I checked NYC was still part of the Republic ... but I could just be behind the times.) of gun access. It simply isn't in their interest to award it.
