I think that is the point. You will not find naked short selling listed as it is not illegal for a mm to do it. The question is do they abuse the power. It is supposed to be a tool to create an orderly market. But are the using this tool to manipulate the price of stocks to their advantage when they get caught on the wrong side while trading for the house?? What needs to happen is to ban firms from trading in stocks that they make a market in.
