Hello All,

The Times of Now (1969)

The time has come to take a leap.
For all young men to cross the street.
It's a new morning as Dylan has told.
Lennon and Apple have taken hold.
Clapton and Bruce and Baker were Cream.
Finally waking us up from our dream.
Out with the old, and in with the new.
Make way for the Stones who are getting through.
Trying to find a way to get in.
Trying to retone for all men's sin.
Jesus Christ is a super star.
So is Dylan and his folk guitar.
There is a way everyone knows.
But do we know where the road goes?
Cocker found a way with A Little Help From His Friends.
All my people are making amends.
Leon Russell is on his way.
And when he comes it will be a new day.
Music is it, That's the whole bag.
Making men happy when they are sad.
Only a fool would laugh at success.
Everyone here is doing his best.
So come on now and get your head together.
If we all work as one it will surely get better.
Woodstock was here but now has gone.
Apple came but started out wrong.
The Establishment says "Look man they're lost."
"All of that work and just look at the cost."
But that's not the thing so let's get it straight.
Do it now before it's too late.
Can't you see it, what's wrong with your head?
Can't you see, The Establishment's dead.
What's wrong with you man, your head's in a tree?
Open your eyes than maybe you'll see.
Music is good and the Beatles were right.
It's not them it's you getting uptight.
It's getting better with a Day in the Life.
Fixing a hole as high as a kite.
So let's get together and make the right move.
Symphony for the Devil is really a grove.
Working class hero is now off the air.
Digging it man, is it really all fair?
They hung Lennon for what he say.
But it's the same word they say every day.
Ten years today they cut half of Elvis.
Only because he moved his pelvis.
M.G.M. dropped eighteen rockers.
Trying to say that they were poppers.
Because of the words they put in their songs,
The Establishment says there doing it wrong.
Lennon has said it skeleton and bones.
And Dylan calls them Mister Jones.
The whole wide world is all on fire.
And we all bow down to a new messiah.
Not of a body as we would know,
But of a feeling that continues to flow.
Flow like the waters in a lovely spring stream.
Flow like your mind in a beautiful dream.
Just put your head back and dig what you feel.
Making all your wonderful dreams become real.
Oh how beautiful this world could be.
If only you would open you minds to me.
Lennon and Dylan and Russell at last.
Apple and Tommy, a new morning has past.
