Brad, I must have confused you with another person on this thread who uses P&F charting. He said, a while back when Idec was sub 20 that it was a "low pole" P&F pattern that bottom-fishers look for.

I only use stochastics after choosing the period of the stochastic oscillator by finding a period of RSI that fits the "cycles" of the stock. It is a little bit subjective & past performance is no guarantee etc, but it seems a good way to pick the period for the stochastic oscillator.

Using a period of 19 days, which has given a good "fit" for RSI back to early Nov, the stochastic oscillator indicates IDPH is short-term oversold. . . but the stochastic hasn't come down to give a sell signal yet. I've found stochastics to be a very hit-and-miss indicator, but those are about all the software-indicators I have available to work with at the moment.

I'm long IDPH, so am not inclined to agree with this stochastics oscillator. . . yet. If IDPH drops to 21 or lower, then I will begin to believe it. :-)
