Haqihana--True. I don't know you. And if you knew me, you'd understand why and how I appreciate virtually everyone, even those, such as yourself, who prove unkindness. You see, I ain't gonna take someone else's bum trip! If you want to be on a bum trip toward me, well, it's yours--not mine!

My criticism of Galveston was reflective of George W. Bush's environmental policies. It had nothing to do with Native Americans, the spirits of whom can't possibly look too favorably upon Republican policies either this year, or yester'year.

And I agree, Democrats ain't much better. But they are a little bit better enough to count in my opinion.

Hence, my opposition to George W. Bush who runs on a platform he won't even cite, echoes Gore's issues with a slight tweak here or there and forthrightly invokes a GOPwinger Smear Parade on Gore's embellishment issue.

Fact is, Gore has been in public service far longer than Bush; he has presented himself to more Americans than Bush; he's been involved in more legislation than Bush; he's met more foreign leaders than Bush; and he's been under the media spotlight far longer than Bush. In short, Gore is a lifetime public servant. Bush is not.

And in the course of speaking to many, many Americans, as Gore has done, I just don't see how it's possible that he can be perfect in every instance. That he has misspoken, or used metaphors or invoked allegorical comments is, therefore, not surprising. I think were you to take a poll among average Americans, each respondent would answer: They all do it! As did Bush during his recent debate with Gore. And it'll probably happen again--for both of 'em!

Bush, basically has been a governor in a weak governor state and had been very good at photo ops and whatnot. If you are claiming Bush is a strong leader and is running on his record, then you've got to forthrightly respond to why Texas, comparative to other states in our nation, shows up horribly in virtually every category. The Texas buck stops with Bush, does it not?

It further bothers me that Bush won't comment on his life pre-age 40. Doesn't this concern you? Think he made any misstatements before the age of 40? Heck, Gore was being quoted long before the age of 40.

Meanwhile, I look forward to your future posts once you get better settled with whatever it is that is inhibiting your posting on this thread. Fare ye well!
