And I agree that it may well be that TXN becomes strong in the wireless rapid data / internet nexus. All I was suggesting was that remains to be seen. With Qualcomm, the case is clear - as is its "gorillaness".

Absolutely....I think we agree. I just wanted to make sure I understood your viewpoint.

I'm not sure how Moore can classify TXN as a gorilla. Intel may be a borderline case (with convincing arguments on both sides) but TXN has had only small successes in forcing standards on its competitors (VLIW is probably one such case). Also, I'm not sure that TXN has created any sort of "lock" on it's customers. There is likely a certain amount of stickiness once TXN's DSP's are used, but nothing stops Nokia from switching to another DSP vendor for it's next generation handsets.
