I just spoke with IR at QLT. Since 1993, I have found their comments to be very measured and devoid of hype. The following is a summary. 1. QLT is not revising downward its revenue expectations. 2. QLT has received no information about disappointing results from retinologists using Visudyne. 3. QLT and Ciba Vision will be doing extensive research into the experience and reaction of retinologists who are using Visudyne. This data will be shared with the investing public.
